Oskido is the stage name for Oscar Sibonginkosi Mdlongwa, a prominent South African recording artist, DJ, record producer, and businessman. Often called the “Godfather of South African dance music,” he is a pioneer of the kwaito genre and a co-founder of the influential Kalawa Jazmee Records. Having been in the music industry for over 26 years, Oskido has reached a prominent status in the South African music industry.
