Deinbofa Nana Okoto also known as Korkormikor, was born in Otuan, a typical resource-rich but economically deprived community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the present-day Bayelsa State, Nigeria. A talented songwriter, singer, and hip hop impresario, Korkormikor spent his formative years in the humid, highly populated ghetto areas of D/Line, Diobu, and the Main Town section of Port Harcourt.
