Davolee, born Shokoya Oluwasegunfunmi, is a Nigerian rapper who started his career selling water in Lagos before gaining fame with his viral “Festival Bar” freestyle. Olamide discovered him and later signed him to YBNL Nation, where he featured on the hit song “Pepper Dem Gang”. He later left YBNL to go independent and form New Nation Muzik. He is popular for his conscious street rap and storytelling in Yoruba; his music reflects themes of struggle and resilience, as seen in his album “Earning Wish.”
