Chop Life Sound System is a pan-African music group and mobile party experience created by Nigerian artist and entrepreneur Mr Eazi and UK-based Kenyan Afrobeats selector DJ Edu. The name is derived from the West African pidgin slang phrase “chop life,” meaning “enjoy life to the fullest,” and the traditional sound systems (mobile DJ crews) synonymous with Jamaican dancehall culture.
