Morell Musa, popularly known as Morell, was born in Borno State in Northern Nigeria and is one of the first musicians to bring hip hop music to the North. He often performs his songs in Hip hop and Ganga. While he sings in Hausa language more than in English, he studied at the University of Maiduguri.
His breakout song was “Anti Social” which he created with the popular southern Nigerian singer Olamide
