Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer, and amateur boxer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa.
Nyovest dropped out of school at 16 to pursue a music career, eventually signing with Impact Sounds. He rose to fame in 2014 with “Doc Shebeleza.” His discography includes Tsholofelo, Refiloe, Thuto, Sweet and Short, Any Minute Now, Sweet and Short 2.0, and Solomon. He is renowned for his “Fill Up” stadium concerts and business ventures.
