“Lucky Daye” is an American R&B singer-songwriter from New Orleans, born David Debrandon Brown in 1985. He initially gained success writing for other artists and competing on “American Idol” before breaking out as a solo artist. He is known for blending classic and progressive R&B, with his debut EP “I” (2018) and album, “Painted” (2019) receiving critical acclaim. His EPs “Table for Two” and albums “Candydrip” and “Algorithm” have also received significant recognition, including Grammy Awards.
