Shay Jones is an American singer-songwriter who has played a key role in Chicago’s house music scene. She first became known in 1983 for co-writing and singing on the hit “I Wanted to Tell Her” with the band Ministry. Her soulful voice helped her become a house music icon, especially through her work with producers like Steve “Silk” Hurley. She recently released the singles “Beautiful (Motor City Steppers)” and “Hidden Part of Me”.
