Ty Dolla $ign (born Tyrone William Griffin Jr. in 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer from Los Angeles, California. He gained initial fame for co-writing and producing YG’s 2010 single “Toot It and Boot It,” which led to him signing with Atlantic Records in 2012 and Taylor Gang Entertainment in 2013. He is known for blending R&B and hip-hop and has released notable projects like the albums Free TC (2015) and Beach House 3 (2017), along with many collaborations and guest features.
