Franglish, whose real name is Gédéon Mundele Ngolo, is a French rapper and singer from Paris, born in 1994. With Congolese and Togolese heritage, he grew up listening to American hip-hop artists such as Bow Wow and Tyga. He chose the name Franglish because he mixes French and English in his songs. After releasing several mixtapes starting in 2013, he rose to fame with his first album, “Monsieur,” in 2019. His hit song “My Salsa” helped make him one of the top artists in French urban music today.
