“Dela” is a singer and songwriter who lives in Nairobi, Kenya. She sings Afro Soul, which is soul music with African rhythms and drums. As a kid, she used to sing in the school and church choir. After high school, she started singing back-up vocals for different bands. Finally, she went solo, got signed to a record label, and recorded her first album in 2009 and 2010. She was also nominated for a “Kisima Award” in 2010.
