Known simply as Blaise, Funke Martin-Luther is an acclaimed Nigerian hip-hop artist known for her lyrical skill, crisp delivery, and competitive streak. Active in the early 2000s, she gained prominence as part of the hip-hop collective “Da Trybe” and was featured on several classic Nigerian hip-hop tracks, including DJ Jimmy Jatt’s “Too Much” and the posse cut “Oya”. She was also considered one of the best female rappers in Africa during her time and often transcended gender lines in discussions about top lyricists.
