“Bloody Civilian,” born Emoseh Khamofu, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer signed to 0207 Def Jam, the UK division of Def Jam Recordings.
She started writing songs at just 8 years old and gave them to her parents. She also learned production on her laptop and performed at local events. Then her father, a former touring band member, encouraged her to study music. She is known for her unique blend of genres and her contributions to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. Her stage name is a re-appropriation of a term used by the military to refer to Nigerian citizens.
