CDQ, real name Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf (born May 6, 1985), is a Nigerian indigenous rapper and songwriter renowned for blending hip-hop with Afrobeats and Yoruba lyrics. Born in Lagos, his career breakthrough came with the 2014 hit “Indomie” featuring Olamide.
He gained further fame with “Nowo E Soke” (2015) featuring Wizkid. CDQ established his independent label, No Struggle No Success (N.S.N.S) Entertainment, in 2016, following the release of his debut album, Quality. He remains a significant figure in Nigerian street-hop music.
