Victor Akpomon is a Nigerian rapper known as Dr Barz. He plays a unique style called Afro-reggae-rap that mixes hip-hop with local rhythms. he began writing songs at just 13 years old while in high school. Growing up in Port Harcourt deeply influenced his storytelling approach.
He began his career in 2017 and has collaborated with stars like Seyi Vibez and Erigga. A major accomplishment was his hit song “PH City,” which became a street anthem. He recently released the single “Never Give Up” in October 2025. His popular albums like “Something Else” and “Vol. 2” continue to showcase his artistic growth.
