Deinbofa Nana Okoto, also known as “Korkormikor,” was born in Otuan, a typical resource-rich but economically deprived community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the present-day Bayelsa State, Nigeria. A talented songwriter, singer, and hip-hop impresario, “Korkormikor” spent his formative years in the humid, highly populated ghetto areas of D/Line, Diobu, and the Main Town section of Port Harcourt.
