L.A.X., born Damilola Afolabi in Lagos, Nigeria, is a singer and songwriter who started his career as a rapper in the high school group Flyboiz. After moving to the UK to study, he began recording music before returning to Nigeria, where he signed with Wizkid’s Starboy Entertainment in 2013 following the success of his single “Caro”. He has since released multiple albums, including “Rasaking” (2018), “ZaZa Vibes” (2020), and “No Bad Vibes” (2023), and launched his own label, Rasaki Music.
