“Magugu” was raised in Ajegungle, a city in Lagos, Nigeria. His rap style mixes pidgin with rap in a fast-paced flow. “Magugu” is very authentic and connected to his roots, and this has gained him the attention of top artistes like Giles Peterson, Toddla T, Skrillex, etc.
“Magugu” made his NLV Records debut in 2020 with ‘Big Don,’ where he teamed up with UK producer “Famous Eno.” A year later, in 2021, he released his dancehall-infused EP ‘Guguland.’
