Morell Musa, commonly known as Morell, was born in Borno State in Northern Nigeria. He is one of the pioneering musicians who brought hip-hop music to the North. Morell primarily performs in Hip hop and Ganga, often singing in Hausa rather than English. His breakout song, “Anti Social,” was created in collaboration with the well-known southern Nigerian artist Olamide.
