Eniola Akinbo, known professionally as Niyola, is a veteran Nigerian singer-songwriter, performing artist, and actress. She began her professional music career in 2005 and was briefly associated with eLDee’s Trybe Records. After her time with Trybe, she signed a production deal with Make Sum Noise Entertainment.
Niyola rose to prominence as the “First Lady” of Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E), where she released the hit R&B song “Toh Bad” in 2013. In 2021, she successfully transitioned into acting by starring as the lead character, Tolani, in the Netflix original film “Swallow,” directed by Kunle Afolayan. She remains active in the Nigerian creative industry through soulful music and high-profile performances in films.
