Olanrewaju Pelepele, known professionally as Pelepele, was a Nigerian rapper who worked in the music industry for over a decade. Associated briefly with Olamide’s YBNL record label, he struggled to achieve mainstream success despite his talent and local recognition in Lagos, especially in the Alimosho community. He tragically died by suicide in September 2019 at his Ikorodu residence, after a prolonged battle with depression over his stalled career.
