Born on August 28, 1991, into a Christian family of six and a resident of Lagos State, Philkeyz is a Nigerian music producer and musician who specialises in fusing diverse elements of African music to create pop sounds. The Nigerian music composer, producer, and performer from Umuahia in Abia State spent his formative years in Lagos, where he was raised, and later travelled to the United Kingdom, where he stayed for several years.
He is famed for his “Mr Melody” sound and has produced hits like Kizz Daniel’s “Nesesari” and “For You” (ft. Wizkid). Solo projects include the “Premium” EP (2021) and 2024–2025 singles “Shako” and “OMO TAN.”
