PatricKxxLee fell in love with music and hip-hop after his older cousin locked him in a room with nothing but a stereo and albums from Nas, Jay-Z, Ja Rule, 50 Cent and DMX, for over five hours.
When he moved to South Africa, he found himself in a town that listened to a lot of contemporary hip-hop. He started writing rhymes and poetry in his class notes and playing around with the buttons on the programā€™s interface, learning the difference between piano keys and drum kicks. One day, after school, he recorded his first song with a headphone microphone.
