The wait is over! Rising Nigerian sensation Ayo Maff has officially dropped his highly anticipated debut album “Prince Of The Street,” and it’s already making waves across the African music scene. This 13-track collection has catapulted straight to the #1 spot on Apple Music Nigeria, proving that authentic street storytelling still reigns supreme.
Born Ayorinde Mafoluku Ayodele in the vibrant streets of Somolu, Bariga, Lagos, Ayo Maff has always worn his roots with pride. “I grew up in the street of Somolu, Bariga,” the emerging Afrobeats star explains. “That’s where I came from. And it’s just more to let the people know I am from them. Regardless of where people see me, I’m from the street, so that’s why they call me ‘Prince of the Street’.”
This isn’t just another quick studio project. “It took me more than a year to record,” Ayo Maff reveals, “so it’s very personal to me, because each song is talking about a different phase of my life.” The album serves as both autobiography and anthem for anyone who’s ever had to fight for their dreams from the bottom up.
