BILS (Built in Lagos State) is an AfroHiphop/Afrobeat artist, songwriter, and producer born in Lagos, Nigeria. At the age of 12, BILS found his love for entertainment, influenced by Fela Kuti, Tupac, Mystikal, and Kanye West. At 16, he began writing his own music and creating his own beats. He then moved to the United States to further his education. He has been nominated four times for the Nigerian Entertainment Award, performed at major festivals like SXSW, and opened for many of the top African musical acts.
