Stormrex is a Nigerian singer and songwriter known for her unique voice and songs primarily in the Igbo dialect, born Yvonne Akuabata Ogbuogu. After beginning her career in the girl group “The Desperate Chicks”; she went solo in 2009, releasing her debut album, “The New Storm”, in 2010.
She later signed with Penthauze Muzik, a label associated with artiste like Phyno. She continueĀ collaborating with other artists such as Flavour, Olamide and Illbliss.
