“Divine” is a collaborative extended play (EP) by Nigerian high-life superstar Flavour and a visually impaired Liberian artist Semah G. Weifur, released in March 2018. The EP emerged after Flavour discovered Semah’s talent during a trip to Liberia in 2017 and was deeply moved by his resilience, deciding to make the young boy’s dream of singing with him a reality.
The songs are anthems of hope, gratitude, and divine guidance. Key tracks include the inspiring “Most High” (which appeared on Flavour’s “Ijele the Traveller” album before the EP), “No One Like You”, and “Power and Glory”. This seven-track gospel project is a soulful fusion of Flavour’s signature Afrobeats/high-life sound with deeply spiritual and inspirational lyrics.
