Timi Dakolo, born in 1981, is a well-known Nigerian soul singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after winning the first season of Idols West Africa in 2007. With his strong voice, he often sings about love and hope. Some of his best-known songs are “Iyawo Mi” and “Great Nation,” which many Nigerians consider a patriotic anthem. Timi is married to Busola Dakolo, and they have three children.
