African Baddie is Yemi Alade’s 10-track EP that serves as a bold, contemporary statement on feminine power and complexity. The project’s sonic palette expands beyond core Afrobeats to fluently integrate Dancehall, Highlife, and R&B elements.
It features a strong lineup of international collaborators, including Dancehall Queen Spice (“Bubble It”), Phyno, Zlatan, and Lemar. Alade described the EP as capturing the full range of a woman’s moods—from vulnerability to fierce control.
The EP, a follow-up to Queendoncom, cements her status as a global Afropop ambassador, combining high-energy production with diverse cultural sounds.
