“EMOTIONS” landed on October 18, 2024, and it shows how much CKay’s grown. He takes his emo-Afrobeats roots and pushes them further, digging into everything from playful infatuation to deeper moments of self-reflection and growth.
The album fuses traditional African sounds, ike the Oja flute, with modern Afrobeats and pop, so you get warmth, rhythm, and a lot of feeling. Olamide, Ty Dolla $ign, Nora Fatehi, and The Cavemen all jump in, stretching the sound even more.
Some tracks, like “That Feeling,” pull you into CKay’s headspace, while others, like “Egwu Eji,” are made for the dance floor. All the way through, EMOTIONS is CKay exploring love, identity, and what it means to keep evolving as an artist.
