Rather than repeating the same street sound that first brought him fame, this project meant something deeper for Zlatan. The title Resan is a Swedish word that translates to “the journey,” and the album reflects exactly that, a musical and personal journey from grassroots hustle to wider recognition.
The project spans 12 tracks, with a runtime of around 35 minutes, striking a balance between energetic dance pieces and moodier, more reflective songs. Zlatan described it as a way to show how far he had come, both creatively and culturally, turning his experiences into music that speaks to resilience, celebration, and growth.
