Phenomenon (Phenom) is a Nigerian rapper who emerged from underground Nigerian hip-hop circles while he was a student at the University of Lagos. He was signed to his debut record label, Knighthouse, in 2011 after performing a freestyle at an open mic night. When his label experienced some financial difficulties, he stopped pursuing his music career. After retiring from the company, he relaunched his music career in 2017 as Phenomenon, with a fresh record label called Trick Billionaire MusiQ.
