Mercy Nnenda Chinwo (born 5 September 1990), known professionally as “Mercy Chinwo” or “Mercy Chinwo-Blessed,” is a Nigerian gospel singer, actress, and songwriter. She started singing in the children’s choir at her church when she was six years old. “Chinwo” gained recognition after winning the Second Season of “Nigerian Idol,” and decided to pursue a career in gospel music after winning the competition. In 2017, she signed a recording contract with “EeZee Conceptz.” In 2018, she released the single “Excess Love.”
