“Full Time Job” is the fifth album of the Igbo rapper Phyno. It was released on the 4th of October through the prestigious record label Penthauze Music. One thing that always sticks whenever Phyno drops an album is how effortlessly he blends rap, Igbo highlife, R&B, and touches of gospel.
For this particular album, he featured top stars in most of his tracks, which include ArrDee, Flavour, Burna Boy, Chip, Fve, Johnny Drille, Cheque, Group NSG and the most shocking, the convicted Hushpuppi.
What makes the album shine is how authentic it feels. Phyno isn’t trying to reinvent himself; he’s refining himself. He’s speaking his truth in the language of his soul, Igbo, hip-hop, and street spirit all woven into one.
