Remilekun Khalid Safaru, known as Reminisce, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on January 26, 1981, in Kaduna State. He is known for his Yoruba and English rap and is considered a pioneer of indigenous hip-hop in Nigeria. His notable achievements include a Headies Award for Best Rap Album, being featured on TIME magazine’s “World Rappers You Should Meet” list in 2014, and acting in the Nigerian films King of Boys and its sequel.
