When Phyno released “No Guts, No Glory” in 2014, it wasn’t just another debut album; it was a bold introduction to a sound, a story, and a spirit that Nigeria’s music scene had never fully embraced before. With this project, Phyno introduces his sound and also cemented himself as the unapologetic voice of the East, proudly rapping in Igbo while bridging traditional roots with modern sound.
The 18-track album is a rich blend of introspection, street realism, gratitude, and celebration. Setting his fearless tone on track, such as Alobam, Authe, Man of the Year, and many others.
Phyno’s choice of collaborations showed his versatility and his respect for different sound categories. He teamed up with Olamide on a track that perfectly blended their raw energies. Flavour brought soulful melody, while P-Square joined him, turning it into a vibrant celebration of success.
His collaboration with some female artists also brought out the emotional and softer version of the artist, which was far from the dominating character he showcased in most of his tracks.
Welcome to Phyno’s world, enjoy his Melody….
