In “Spells,” Fireboy DML is convinced something out of the ordinary has been done to him because he cannot comprehend the depth of his obsession with his love interest. He mimics the sound of spells at the beginning of the track, and as if that is not entertaining enough, infuses beats like those used in an incantation.
But “Fireboy DML,” still unsatisfied, adds one final touch by inviting one of Nigeria’s best vocalists, “Wande Coal,” into the track.
